Shilpa Shetty clarified rumours of a Bastian shutdown in Bandra, confirming the restaurant is not closing permanently. Instead, Shetty confirmed that the Bandra outlet is being transformed into a new South Indian restaurant called Ammakai. At the same time, Bastian itself will move to Juhu, where it will reopen as Bastian Beach Club. Shetty reassured fans that the brand is going nowhere and will return with new flavours.

Shetty Releases Statement
In her video statement, Shetty explained that Ammakai will celebrate Mangalorean cuisine inspired by her roots, while the Juhu outlet will carry forward Bastian’s hospitality. She asked supporters not to treat speculation as negativity, adding that exciting changes are ahead for her restaurants.
