Russia hit western Ukraine with a massive drone and missile strike targeting an American-owned electronics plant. The attack sparked global concern, as the region had mostly avoided such heavy assaults. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky accused Moscow of deliberately targeting US property, while Moscow claimed it was aiming at military-industrial sites.
In Mukachevo, the Russians practically burned down an American company producing electronics—home appliances, nothing military. The Russians knew exactly where they lobbed the missiles. We believe this was a deliberate attack against American property and investments in Ukraine. pic.twitter.com/1TiadwmAqk

Russia Strikes Ukraine Again
The Defence Ministry said the strikes targeted military facilities such as depots and drone factories. However, Kyiv said civilian infrastructure was hit, accusing Moscow of deliberate attacks on US businesses. Nearly 1,000 drones and missiles have been launched since recent high-level talks involving Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin, and European leaders. The escalation adds uncertainty to ongoing efforts aimed at ending the war through negotiations.
