‘War 2’ Review
Cast- Hrithik Roshan, Jr. NTR, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Ashutosh Rana.
Director- Ayan Mukerji
Duration- 2h 50m
Ratings- 2 stars
‘War 2’ decided to crash the Independence Day 2025 party by dropping a day early. The buzz? Off the charts. The expectations? Sky-high. The delivery? Well… let’s say it’s like waiting for a rocket and getting a Diwali phuljhari (sparkler) instead.
Star Power on Overdrive
The cast list is straight-up big stars: Hrithik Roshan doing his Greek-god thing, Jr. NTR bringing the mass-energy, Kiara Advani adding glamour and grace, Anil Kapoor bringing seasoned swag, and Ashutosh Rana being, well, Ashutosh Rana. Performance-wise, no complaints – everyone brought their A-game.
Storyline Stretch-a-thon
Here’s the problem: the story feels like it got stretched more than your last yoga class. It starts strong, sprinkles in some action candy, but then keeps dragging. By the second half, you are checking your watch, wondering if time itself is stuck in slo-mo. The thrilling moments are there, but they are buried under too much unnecessary drama.
Final Verdict: Not recommended
‘War 2’ had all the ingredients for a blockbuster – star cast, budget, hype – but forgot the main spice: a tight, engaging story. It’s not worth a watch, and don’t expect a firecracker that lights up your Independence Day weekend.
