Pakistan Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, issued a strong nuclear warning against India during his visit to the United States. At a dinner in Tampa, Florida, Munir warned that if Pakistan faces an existential threat from India, it would “take half the world down” with it. This marks the first time such a threat has been made from US soil.
Tensions Over Indus Waters
Asim Munir also condemned India’s suspension of the Indus Water Treaty, warning it could endanger millions. He threatened to destroy any Indian dam on the river with missiles. Using an analogy, he compared India to a shining Mercedes and Pakistan to a dump truck full of gravel, warning that a clash would harm India more. His remarks reflect growing tension between the two countries.
