Kapil Sharma’s restaurant, Kap’s Cafe in Surrey, Canada, was targeted by gunfire early on Thursday morning. The cafe has been targeted for the second time in under a month. While no one was injured, bullet marks were visible on its windows. Staff were inside at the time. The cafe had only just resumed operations following a similar shooting on 10 July.

Salman Khan Link to the Attack
Goldy Dhillon, a gangster allegedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, posted online, claiming responsibility. He said they had called Sharma but got no reply, so action was taken. He said that Kapil’s invitation to Salman Khan for his show’s opening episode may be linked to the recent attacks.
