A border dispute between Thailand and Cambodia escalated sharply on Thursday, leaving at least nine civilians dead, including a five-year-old child. As the Thailand–Cambodia War intensified, Cambodian forces fired rockets into Thailand, which led the Thai military to send F-16 fighter jets. One jet hit a Cambodian army post. After that, Thailand closed the border and moved people out of nearby areas.

Cambodian Rockets Hit Thai Village
Several rockets launched from Cambodian territory struck a Thai village near the temple zone. The blasts damaged homes and caused panic among residents. Thai officials confirmed that at least one child was among the dead in the Thailand–Cambodia War. Emergency crews were deployed, and border communities were evacuated as fears of more strikes grew. Thailand has tightened security in nearby provinces, warning civilians to stay indoors while military patrols continue around the clock.
