Actor-producer Vishnu Manchu has opened up about his long-standing dream project, A Unique Version of ‘Ramayana’, which focuses on the life of Ravana. Though the film never materialized, Vishnu revealed that the script and dialogues are ready, and he still hopes the project can happen someday.
Vishnu Reveals Dream Cast
In an interview, Vishnu Manchu, who plans to make ‘Ramayana’ with Alia Bhatt, said that he first came up with the idea in 2009 and even approached Suriya to play Lord Rama. Alia Bhatt, he said, would be his ideal Sita. He had also planned for his father, veteran actor Mohan Babu, to play Ravana. However, due to budget issues, the film couldn’t take off.
