‘Udaipur Files’ Case: Supreme Court Asks To Hold Release Until Centre Responds

Seems like problems aren’t stopping for the film ‘Udaipur Files’! Supreme Court has confirmed the decision to ban the film ‘Udaipur Files’. The movie was initially set to release on July 11, but had been put on hold by the Delhi High Court. On Wednesday, the top court said it will wait for the Centre’s review before making any decision. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for July 21. A government committee is now checking the film and will share its views soon.

About ‘Udaipur Files’

‘Udaipur Files’ focuses on the murder of tailor Kanhaiya Lal, who was killed in Udaipur in 2022. His death shocked the nation and led to widespread outrage. The Supreme Court has also asked that the view of the accused in the case be considered, as the trial is still going on in the court.
