Deepika Padukone Makes History! Becomes First Indian Actor to Get a Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Deepika Padukone is now part of history as she became the first Indian actor to be honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The iconic spot in L.A. has stars of several legendary actors and artists, and Deepika’s star will be joining them. The announcement was made via livestream from the Hollywood Walk of Fame for the class of 2026 in the motion pictures category.

Deepika joins the likes of Emily Blunt, Timothée Chalamet, Rami Malek, Rachel McAdams, Stanley Tucci, Demi Moore, and more, who will also be getting their stars. The announcer was heard saying, “And our first Bollywood star, Deepika Padukone!”

Padukone has been monumental in putting India on the global map. Earlier, she made history by becoming the first Indian to represent the fashion brands Louis Vuitton and Cartier. She was last seen on the big screen in ‘Kalki 2898 AD’. On the personal front, she welcomed her first child with husband Ranveer Singh last year.
