Last month, an Air India Boeing 787 Dreamliner on its way to London from Ahmedabad crashed a few seconds after take-off, killing everybody on board except one passenger. Almost a month later, the investigation is still underway, and families of the victims are now planning to sue Boeing and Air India.
As per India Today, the families of the victims have consulted a UK-based law firm, Keystone Law, to file lawsuits. The lawsuit is to get extra compensation. However, the Tata Group, which owns the Airline, had already announced a compensation of Rs 1 crore. The company also provided an extra Rs 25 lakh as compensation to each family to cover immediate travel needs. It was also reported that Keystone Law firm has aligned meetings this week, and the final decision about legal proceedings will be taken post that.
