Anant Ambani, the youngest son of Mukesh Ambani, officially became the Executive Director at Reliance Industries starting May 1, 2025. This marks a significant transition from his previous role as a non-executive director, where he earned sitting fees and a modest commission of under Rs 1 crore. Earlier, Anant used to get a sitting fee of Rs 4 lakh along with commission on profits of Rs 97 lakh, but with the change in role, he will now be entitled to salary and other facilities as executive director.
