Security forces of Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district are currently engaged in an intense encounter with four Jaish-e-Mohammad terrorists in a dense forest area. The officials shared that the terrorists were trapped in the forest. The encounter began early in the morning in the remote Bihali area of Basantgarh when a joint team of the Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a search operation based on specific intelligence. Despite heavy rain and thick fog, the operation, codenamed Operation Bihali, is underway with reinforcements on the ground.
