The makers of ‘Sardarji 3′ have now issued a statement regarding the backlash that the movie has been facing. The movie stars Pakistani actress Hania Aamir alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa. After the Pahalgam attack and Operation Sindoor, the Indian government banned several Pakistani actors’ Instagram accounts and also banned several Pakistani YouTube channels. Diljit also gave an interview, where he spoke about the entire controversy.

The production house behind ‘Sardarji 3’ shared a statement and said that the movie was shot before the entire situation. They said they stand united with the country and will not be releasing the movie in India or even promoting it in the country.

Meanwhile, even Diljit echoed the same views, in an interview with BBC, the singer said, “Jab yeh film bani thi tab situation sab theek tha. We shot this in February and then everything was fine. Uske baad, bahut saari badi cheezen humare haath mein nahi hai. Toh producers ne decide kiya ki film obviously ab India toh nahi lagegi, toh overseas release karte hain. Toh producers ka bahut paisa laga hua hai aur jab yeh film bann rahi thi tab aisa kuch tha nahi.”
Amid controversy over Sardar Ji 3 featuring Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, Diljit Dosanjh addressed the issue:
