Air India Crash: Tata Group has announced Rs 1 crore compensation for the families of those who died in the Air India crash in Ahmedabad. The flight was carrying 242 people. Air India and Tata Sons Chairman, N Chandrasekaran, expressed deep sorrow. In a post on X, he said their focus is on helping the affected families.

“We are doing everything in our power,” he said. An emergency centre and support team have been set up to relay information to families. More than 204 bodies have been recovered, according to Ahmedabad Police Commissioner GS Malik.

Air India is arranging two relief flights for victims’ families. One will fly from Delhi and the other from Mumbai to Ahmedabad at 11 pm tonight. Return flights will also be arranged.
