‘Housefull 5,’ starring Akshay Kumar, has had a blockbuster opening, crossing Rs 100 crore within days of release. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the film features a massive ensemble and is among the most expensive comedies of the year. Akshay reportedly took home the biggest pay cheque amongst his co-stars. As per reports, Akshay Kumar was the highest-paid, earning Rs 60–70 crore.
Riteish Deshmukh followed with Rs 30–35 crore.
Abhishek Bachchan earned Rs 10 crore.
Sanjay Dutt reportedly took home Rs 12–15 crore.
Jackie Shroff Rs 4–5 crore.
Nana Patekar Rs 3–4 crore.
Sonam Bajwa was paid Rs 7–8 crore.
Jacqueline Fernandez Rs 5–6 crore.
The film also stars Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangda Singh, Johny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, and Soundarya Sharma, but their remuneration was not revealed.
