India is witnessing a fresh wave of COVID-19 cases, with active infections rising to 4,026 as of Tuesday morning, according to data from the Union Health Ministry. The resurgence has raised concerns among health officials, especially as most recent deaths involved elderly individuals with pre-existing medical conditions. While recovery numbers stand at 2,700, there have been 37 fatalities reported so far, including 5 deaths on June 3 alone.
