Akshay Kumar has sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal, demanding Rs 25 crore in damages. His company, Cape of Good Films, claims Paresh acted unprofessionally by quitting ‘Hera Pheri 3’ after signing a contract and beginning the shoot.

The film had started production in April with Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh, under director Priyadarshan. Akshay recently acquired the rights from Sajid Nadiadwala. Paresh announced his exit via X, saying he “simply didn’t feel like doing the film.” He denied any creative issues.
“I hold immense love and respect for Priyadarshan,” he wrote on X.

As per HT City, a source said that Paresh was being paid three times his usual fee. His sudden exit has upset fans. He has previously quit projects like ‘OMG 2’ and ‘Billu’ after agreeing to them. “You can’t sign a contract, take money, then walk out,” the source said.
