The infamous multiplex chain PVR Inox has filed a lawsuit against Maddock Films for cancelling the theatrical release of ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’. Maddck Films moved the movie’s release to a digital platform at the last minute. The team has demanded that the film be released in the theatres first and then move to OTT platforms.
PVR Inox insists that Maddock Films should follow the traditional eight-week window to shift the movie as usual. They have sued Maddock Films for Rs 60 crore due to the last-minute cancellation. The comedy film is now allegedly set to be released on Prime Video on May 16.
