Karan Johar has announced his latest production venture, and it’s unlike anything we’ve seen from Dharma Productions before. Titled ‘Naagzilla’, the film is a fantastical, snake-filled spectacle starring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role. Directed by ‘Fukrey’ helmer Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, the movie is set to hit theatres on August 14, 2026—just in time for Naag Panchami.

Johar unveiled the motion poster on Instagram, featuring a shirtless Kartik Aaryan standing in a snake-infested lair. Dressed in only blue jeans, his body slowly transforms into serpent-like skin. The quirky caption teased: “ Insanon wali picharein toh bahut dekh leen, ab dekho naagon wali pichchar” Promising a mix of fantasy, comedy, and chaos, Naagzilla introduces a new kind of hero—Preyamvadeshwar Pyare Chand—and marks a wild new turn in Indian genre cinema.
