Val Kilmer ‘Batman Forever’ Star Dies At 65

Hollywood veteran actor, Val Kilmer, best known for his roles in ‘Top Gun’, ‘Batman Forever’, and ‘Tombstone’ has passed away. The actor was 65 years old at the time of his death and his passing away was confirmed by his daughter Mercedes Kilmer.

As per the New York Times, Kilmer’s daughter revealed the actor passed away due to pneumonia. The actor was diagnosed with throat cancer back in 2014 and the treatment had left him voiceless. In 2021, Vall revealed he was cancer-free.

He was last seen on screen in ‘Top Gun: Maverick’, though his voice was generated by AI. The actor was hesitant to come back from he film but decided to star after co-star Tom Cruise insisted. Kilmer was once the highest-paid actor in Hollywood.
