Comedian Kunal Kamra has now shared a powerful statement about the recent controversy with Eknath Shinde. The comedian made a joke about Shinde during his show. After the video was shared on YouTube, supporters of Shinde trashed the venue where the show happened and threatened Kamra.

In his statement, Kamra doubled down on the joke and said he would not apologise or hide. He also called out the hypocrisy of the press and the lawmakers in the country. A phone call of Kunal Kamra and a Shiv Sena worker also went viral on the internet. In the call, the Shinde supporter was heard threatening and abusing the comedian.
