Months after announcing that he is ready to leave Bollywood, ace director Anurag Kashyap revealed that he has officially moved out of Mumbai and relocated to a new city. He also shared that after calling it quits from Bollywood, he plans to direct a Malayalam-Hindi film and a Tamil film.
Anurag Kashyap Leaves Mumbai
Anurag in an interview said that he was not happy with the way Bollywood was functioning and that he has left the city he once called home. He said, “I’ve left Mumbai. I want to stay away from film people.” He termed the Bollywood film industry as “too toxic”. He added that everyone is on the run to make unrealistic targets, trying to make the next Rs 500 or Rs 800 crore film. The creative atmosphere is gone.”
Where Did Anurag Relocate?
‘The Gangs Of Wasseypur’ director continued saying that he had already paid the rent for his new house, though he did not reveal his new location, reports state Anurag has moved to Bengaluru.
