Ranveer Allahbadia can finally breathe a sense of relief, as the Supreme Court on Monday permitted him to resume his popular podcast, ‘The Ranveer Show’, after halting it last month.
Supreme Court’s Decision for Ranveer Allahbadia
The Supreme Court had barred Ranveer Allahbadia from airing any shows over his controversial remarks on Samay Raina’s show India’s Got Latent’. A bench of Justices Surya Kant and N K Singh has now modified the complaint and has allowed Allahbadia to resume his podcast. “Subject to the petitioner furnishing an undertaking to the effect that his podcast shows will maintain the desired standards of decency and morality so that viewers of any age group can watch, the petitioner is allowed to resume the Ranveer Show,” the bench of Justices said during the hearing.
