Reports have been circulating that Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his wife, choreographer Dhanashree Verma, have been granted divorce by the court. While rumours of their divorce had been circulating for months, the two never addressed the situation directly nor revealed the reasons behind their decision. It has now been confirmed that the couple attended their final hearing at the Bandra Family Court on Thursday, where all the required legal procedures were completed.
During the hearing, the judge recommended a 45-minute counseling session. Afterward, both Chahal and Dhanashree expressed their desire to part ways mutually. Reports suggest the couple had been living separately for the past 18 months. When asked about the reason of their divorce, they cited ‘compatibility issues’ as the primary reason. At approximately 4:30 PM on Thursday, the judge officially granted their divorce.
