Amitabh Bachchan’s son-in-law Nikhil Nanda accused of fraud, abetment to suicide

Nikhil Nanda, the Chairman and Managing Director of Escorts Kubota and son-in-law of Amitabh Bachchan is embroiled in a legal case involving allegations of fraud and abetment to suicide.

The Case

Nikhil Nanda and several other executives from his company are accused of exerting undue pressure on Jitendra Singh, a tractor dealer, to meet unattainable sales targets. This pressure is alleged to have played a role in Singh’s decision to end his life. The complaint was lodged by the deceased’s brother-in-law Gyanendra Singh.

Gyanendra asserts that the relentless demands from Nanda and his team caused immense mental anguish to Jitendra Singh.

Who is Nikhil Nanda?

Nikhil Nanda is married to Shweta Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter. He is also the grandson of the iconic filmmaker Raj Kapoor, making him a cousin to Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor.
