Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya’s film ‘Sky Force’ banned in the Middle East

Sky Force

The first biggest film of 2025, ‘Sky Force’, starring Akshay Kumar, Veer Pahariya, Sara Ali Khan, and Nimrat Kaur, was released across the country today. It has had a massive worldwide release, with the exception of one territory: the Middle East. The aerial action entertainer was not allowed to be released in various nations including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and others.

The reason

The reason for the ban is unclear. However, industry insiders believe that the film’s content may be a contributing cause as the film digs into historical tensions between India and Pakistan, which has historically resulted in film bans in the region.
