YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as ‘BeerBiceps,’ has sparked controversy after his appearance on ‘India’s Got Latent’. During the show, he asked a contestant, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex for the rest of your life, or join in once and stop it forever?”

Here are 5 times the YouTuber sparked controversies:

  1. In 2021, Allahbadia faced criticism for a sexist tweet in which he suggested that women wearing kurtis would bring men “to their knees.”
  2. Back in 2013, on his podcast, he asked an advocate to name people who should leave India. The advocate mentioned journalist Barkha Dutt and historians Romila Thapar and Irfan Habib. This sparked outrage, but Allahbadia refused to remove the controversial clip from his YouTube channel.
  3. In 2014, he was criticized for giving a platform to an unverified claim on his show about a village in Malappuram, Kerala, supposedly enforcing Islamic law.
  4. Allahbadia, who is frequently trolled for asking the unsettling question “Do you think about death?” during his podcast, had a near-death experience himself. While vacationing in Goa with his girlfriend, he reportedly nearly drowned and narrowly escaped death.
  5. In October 2024, Allahbadia interviewed the then-chairman of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), S. Somanath, in which they discussed the possibility of extraterrestrial civilizations. Allahbadia proposed that alien life likely exists in various stages of advancement across the universe.
