5 Bravehearts Martyred in Operation Sindoor

Operation Sindoor

India paid a heavy price during Operation Sindoor. The country lost five soldiers in a retaliatory strike following the Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians. The precision strikes targeted nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Over 100 terrorists, including high-value operatives like Yusuf Azhar and Mudasir Ahmed, were targeted.

The fallen heroes include Sergeant Surendra Kumar Moga of the Indian Air Force, Sub-Inspector Mohammed Imtiaz of the BSF, Lance Naik Dinesh Kumar of the Mechanised Infantry, Rifleman Sunil Kumar from Jammu, and Mudavath Murali Naik, a young soldier from Andhra Pradesh. Their sacrifice underlines the immense cost of defending the nation.

While Pakistan responded with erratic shelling that hit civilian and religious sites, India maintained a non-escalatory stance. The ceasefire was brokered after a hotline conversation between DGMOs of both nations, halting cross-border hostilities from 5:00 PM on May 10. India salutes its martyrs with pride and grief.
