He had been admitted to Jupiter Hospital due to age-related health complications, but could not recover. His final rites will take place on Tuesday in Thane. Potdar worked in over 125 Hindi and Marathi films, along with nearly 100 television shows, making him one of the most recognisable faces in Indian cinema.
